Regarding the application of Rosehip Oil, we recommend evening application, as oils can act as a reflector and intensify the sun's UVA and UVB rays, so it's important to apply an SPF over the top when using in the morning to protect the skin. For the amount and frequency, we suggest starting by pressing 1-3 drops into the skin, 2-3 consecutive evenings per week, and then adjusting according to your skin's needs. If you use a retinol at night, we recommend using the Rosehip Oil on separate nights, e.g., Rosehip Oil 2-3 nights a week and the retinol the rest of the week. Our Rosehip Oil can be applied directly after a mild AHA, but if you are using ingredients such as Salicylic Acid or Glycolic Acid, we would suggest carrying out a patch test beforehand.
