How Did We Get Our Start? In the mid-1990s, our founder Bill Whyte, a carpenter, faced the challenge of cracked and split hands due to the frigid New England winters. One night, seeking a soothing solution, he mixed up some beeswax and olive oil to create a simple herbal balm. The balm helped his hands so much that he decided to share it with everyone he knew, and thus, the Badger story began.
